ABOUT OUR TOUR: The tour begins with a short introduction of some local history after which we will travel upstream beneath the historic Beaumont Bridge through breath taking white water shoots, rocky outcrops, shallows and experience the famous Hamilton Jet Spins along the way to Native Island. Take a rest and relax while your driver gives you some insight into the importance of this part of the river to the early Maori and view close up, White Terns, Black Backed Gulls in nesting season November-March). There are also abundant Ducks, Black Shags among others, maybe even catch a glimpse of a Brown or Rainbow Trout.
Leave Native Island and prepare yourself for a spin or two on the return journey down river to Beaumont Jet landing and a smile for the camera

Jetboat Fishing Experience : Travel in comfort in our 5 seater Hamilton 151 Jetboat to some of Beaumont Jets favourite fishing spots, some of which are only accessible by boat, and experience Spin fishing for Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout and Salmon on the mighty Clutha River with Dave who will give you a few tips and tell the odd story.
Be sure to bring your camera,( Fishing Tackle, Snacks and Drink supplied,) Licenses can be purchased on the day maximum 3 Fisherman
